Romancetips.com is coming upon its second anniversary, boy how times have changed! Looking over the past two years, Romancetips.com went from a single page on my ISP - which I still receive a tremendous amount of traffic generated from - to its own domain name and a database backend with traffic each day surpassing what I used to get each month!

I started Romancetips.com January 11, 1998 with encouragement from a few friends and a bunch of romantic ideas I thought of that I wanted to share. I started small, a single page with all my tips listed down it. It grew to several dozen pages categorized by the same categories that exist to this day.

In fall of 1998, I registered Romancetips.com and moved my site over to a server. It was getting over 10,000 page views a month when I moved, and a couple hundred tips on it. In 1999, I moved the tips from regular pages to a database back end modified for my use. It had search capability, the easy ability for me to add new tips from anywhere, and made maintenance nonexistant.

Unfortunately, most of this year, the site has sat dormant, but as I started a new free Internet computer course training company, Learnthat.com, I brought Romancetips.com under the same umbrella and got a renewed interest in seeing the site succeed.

Recently, I moved to a new, better server and changed the backend software. I customized a different product for this use and now have several features that are better than previous incarnations of Romancetips.com.

As I come upon the second anniversary on January 11, 2000, I look forward to an awesome future for Romancetips.com. I have a lot of plans for features, and of course, for new romantic tips to help your relationships and romantic life.
