6. Thanksgiving Date. Sit down and write down all of the
things about each other that you're grateful for. Then talk about each
quality and frame and keep the lists.
7. Fall Bazaar. This time of year many churches and community centers
host "Fall Bazaars," full of crafts and other items for sale.
Go to one together and begin your (gasp) Holiday shopping.
8. Leaf Walk. Take a walk together when the leaves are at their
peak of color. Who can find the ugliest leaf? The one with the most colors?
Save a few from your walk and preserve by covering with a light layer
of white glue or several layers of aerosol hairspray or simply clear contact
paper.
9. Host a Costume Ball for your date and your friends.
Be creative (and romantic) with your theme for the costumes. Some ideas:
"Great Couples Throughout History," "Television Stars,"
"Shakespeare's Characters," etc.
10. Trick or Treat? Volunteer together at the children's floor
of a local hospital's party for the kids that have to be there for Halloween.
Go in costume and help give out love and hugs to kids who need them most.
