Start by having a picnic style dinner that can be easily eaten in a rubber fishing boat (one you can both easily lay down). Pick her favorite movie and a laptop and have dinner and a movie on the lake at sunset. By the time your done eating, the sun is down and you can watch the movie under the stars, while floating on a peaceful lake. Just make sure your laptop doesn't get wet.
Send her an e-mail during the day to say, "I'm thinking about you and can't wait to give you a hug when I see you!"
If you live close to a beach, wake up about 30 mins before the sunrise and set out a warm blanket, a stereo with a mix of your personal love songs, and stick a letter in a bottle saying "The sun will rise and the sun will fall but my love for you would never rest at all" and then plant the bottle in the sand. Next go wake up your partner and bring them there and watch the sunset together, play your songs and read the love note. He/she will love you forever!
Go to a miniature golf course together & take your time playing mini-golf,then go fool around in the arcade they sometimes have inside & play what-ever games they might have. It will make you both feel like kids again & fall more in love at the same time. Then go out for dinner together & discuss the fun day you spent together. - Elana -
This date idea is for those who do not have the advantage of an ocean in their backyard. Tell your date you are taking them to the beach. Instead of the actual ocean buy some ocean sounds on a CD. Then take them to a local golf course sand trap, anyplace with sand works, bring a set of beach towels. This date works best if you can blindfold your partner or be somewhat secretive of how you are going to take them to the beach without journeying to the ocean. This also works better at sunset or night. Use your imagination and improve upon your personal ocean.
Go to a place where you can paint pottery together. It is a fun, creative, and romantic thing to do. It give something tangible to take from the date.
Take a evening and go back to where your first date was and rekindle the memories together.
Meet someone you think is pretty. Don't talk to her for about one week and then talk to her again to see if she's going to the dance. If she can go and she doesn't have a date yet, give her the single red rose from behind your back. Go to the dance, make a little love, get out tonight... BONUS: Call up a limo service and get a ride to and from the dance while picking up your date and dropping her off at her house!
Stay in on a Saturday, get up early, read the paper together, eat what's ever in your cabinets (soup and sandwiches is a personal favorite!). Go out for a nice walk, stop at a store or two and enjoy the rest of the evening together. It's quality time spent, and you can dream about your later years together!
Rent a nice room set it up before you go on your date (surprise your husband) make sure it has a hot tub. Surround the tub with scented candles and have your bubble bath handy. Also pick out some romantic music (I made a tape) have scented oils ready so you can give a massage. To start your date take him on a picnic I took my husband to the harbor then we went for a walk. Go back to your room as you walk into your room turn the music on that you left ready.
