Surprise her with a date. Tell her you are going out and pick out the outfit you want her to wear. Don't tell her anymore than this. Then take her to a nice restaurant for dinner. After dinner head back to your place. Have your living room set up as a candle lit dance floor. Make sure you have a tape full of love songs to dance the night away with. She will never forget this night.
Buy magnetic letters, write a new love message on your refrigerator every morning.
When picking your date up at their house/apartment/etc, have your own special way of knocking the door or announcing your arrival. They will distinctly know it's you before they answer the door and will be happily smiling when they answer the door. Always a nice way to start the date.
Try sending him some flowers.
Use a calendar program or go to Kinkos and have a calendar made of all of your romantic and significant dates. Include pictures from your life together if you can. Get a copy for both of you (and remember to have one for the office).
Take 3 roses, take all of the petals off and leave them on her made bed. Take 9 roses and leave them on a trail to the bedroom.
Start a memories box with her. Put all of the significant/special events in your lives in it.
Always look in their eyes as they're talking to you.
Go dancing at a local dance club or rave and at the end of the night take your boy toy for a scenic drive and ask him out on another date at the very end!!!!
Men: always be yourself and no one else to your woman. So you'll find someone you truly love.
Have the house to yourselves. Buy some red and yellow roses, make a path of peddles for your loved one to follow. Have them lead to a room filled with candle light and a soft warm bed.
Buy her a Precious Moments (the ceramic figures) of a boy asking a girl to marry him. Place the ring in the boy's hand. Get down on one knee when you give it to her, don't say a word, just look deep into her eyes when she takes it, so she knows that this is really a 'precious moment'.
Give her surprise phone calls when she's not expecting it and tell her three words "I Love You."
Arrange a multi-part picnic in a local woods. Have friends setup at tables along a long walking path in the woods with your appetizer, dinner at the next table, dessert at the next, etc. Try to think of as many parts to the meal as possible to walk from table to table.
Go to the beach and bring a blanket and a radio. Sit on the blanket while feeding each other chocolates or fruits, with some soft music playing. Then tell him/her how you feel about them, while holding hands, walking in the sand.
Have a midnight champagne picnic.
If she starts to look or act irritated, stop asking questions and back off for a while.
Invite your significant other over to watch Saturday morning cartoons, eat cereal and stay in your pajamas all morning.
Write "I love you" in the dust on your mate's car.
Create a crossword for your sweetie. Use memories, favorite attributes, and events from your relationship as the answers, and get creative with your clues.
Instead of normal roses, give her chocolate roses.
Go ice skating at your local ice rink. Just think, hold his hand so you won't fall down. Then go to a local coffee shop and warm up together.
Go to a major or minor league sport game.
All I can give you is advice: when your around her/him smile let them know that your happy to be in there presents.
Go on a drive and have your passenger blind folded and either say right, left or straight and see where you end up.
Find a pottery place that lets you pick and decorate your own pottery. You can make a set of dishes for your house or coffee mugs for each other.
Always be prepared, have his & her bags packed for a spontaneous weekend getaway.
Write "you're beautiful" or "you're handsome" on a post it note and leave it on the bathroom mirror.
Memorize a romantic poem and recite it to them over dinner at an elegant restaurant.
Make a tape of all or a good number of your "special song". Pick her up and blind fold her (make sure the songs are playing the whole drive) and drive her to a special place the two of you share (ie: first kiss spot, when you asked her to be your "better half", a beautiful place...etc) and have something special planned like a picnic or dancing under the stars or watching the sun set.
