During the night while I slept my partner slipped the ring onto my finger. The ring had been hidden earlier that night in between the mattresses. Needless to say my significant other didn't get much sleep that night waiting for me to be in a position to slip the ring on. The plan was for me not wake up and then notice the ring on my finger in the morning. Instead I woke up when the ring was slipped on at about 5am and we spent the next few hours awake talking and celebrating...I said "YES".
